Do you find regular yoga mats uncomfortable? The extra-thick Mocana Stratus was designed for people who find regular yoga mats don't offer them enough support, while still providing the excellent moisture absorption and grip of an open cell mat.

Grip
To ensure that your hands and feet have the ultimate grip during practice, we use a polyurethane top layer. Polyurethane gives ultimate performance and durability compared to latex and will ensure that your hands and feet have superior grip during practice.

Moisture absorption
For sweat absorption, the Stratus uses open cell technology, allowing moisture to travel through the mat instead of collecting on top, as it does in traditional closed cell mats. Open cell technology provides far superior performance for those who are serious about their practice.

Support
The Stratus support layer is thick foam Nitrile rubber which is less likely to cause allergic reactions and is oil and acid resistant for improved longevity. It offers excellent support and is lightweight. Our mat contains no PVC, a commonly used material in environmentally unfriendly mats. We also use a mesh between the top and foam layers to improve rigidity during movement.

Floor grip
Many studio floors can be slippery, especially towards the end of a class. To address this problem, we have added a special styrene-butadiene rubber layer which offers excellent abrasion resistance and will ensure that your mat stays on the studio floor no matter how exuberant your movements.
